Or last day in Fairbanks. We got to visit Drew's antique store. I could live in it for a week and not see everything. 
Afterwards, we went to Chena Hot Springs. It was delightful.

Saturday 6/18

Finally saw my bear! He was a pretty small (maybe a yearling?) cinnamon colored black bear. Just caught a glimpse of him from the train to Spencer Glacier as he ran into the woods. Not my pic, but this is what he looked like- he ran into the woods too quickly to get a photo☹️. It is breathtaking here. Lots of fishing boats out of Whittier. I loved this old building. If I had to pick a place to haunt someday, this would be it. Bench made with railroad pieces. The glacier was spectacular! I will let the pictures tell the tale. We even took a bite of glacier ice. Took a riverboat trip on the Chena river. We saw Susan Butcher's kennels. She won the Iditarod 4 of 5 races! She was the first woman to win. Puppies are puppies, even if they win races!
